Subjects Taught
Language Arts 7, Language Arts 8

I am a 1999 graduate from Holtville High School.  My next educational adventure began at Central Alabama Community College where I received an Associates in Science Degree. I graduated from Auburn University Montgomery with a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education with an emphasis in Language Arts.  I just finished receiving my Master's Degree in Gifted Education from Troy University.

My actual teaching experience began when I was a small child.  My sister and I would line up our dolls and stuffed animals in rows.  We taught them everything they needed to know.  My certified teaching experience began at East Memorial Christian Academy where I taught 7th-12 grade Drama and Language Arts.  After two years at EMCA, I taught at Tallassee High School 10th and 12th grade Language Arts and 9th-12th grade Speech and Drama.  The Lord has truly blessed me when he brought me to HMS to teach Gifted Education.

I have lived in the Deatsville area all my life.  I went to HES and HHS my entire school career.  While at HHS I was in the band 7th-12th grade.  My 11th and 12th grade year I was the Drum Major for the HHS marching band.  I attend Destiny Christian Center in Prattville, Alabama.  I have three perfect nephews whom I love very much.  I am a HUGE!!! Auburn fan. My best interests and hobbies are serving the Lord and teaching his children.  My favorite book in the Bible is Luke.  I have always wanted to be a teacher.  I firmly believe that teaching is truly a calling from God.  I love to cook, although I am not good at it.  I have always and will always have an open door policy when it comes to my students and their parents.  If there are ever any questions or concerns, please feel free to address them with me at any time.
